It's a smaller, more petite version of \u003cstrong\u003eAnubias.\u003c\/strong\u003e This variety isn't available as often as I would like it so if you want it- Grab it- because it won't last.\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"\u003eNOTE: I have found that \u003cstrong\u003eAnubias Nana Petite\u003c\/strong\u003e is slightly less hardy then the regular sized Anubias. It is still a hardy plants but probably due to it's smaller size- it isn't as rugged. \u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"\u003eThe leaves on this plant are about half an inch and stay that way. Like most Anubias, it is a slow grower and will take a minute to attach to a driftwood or rock.\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"\u003eRemember folks. (though I haven't kept cichlids with it in a long time so I am not saying that your fish won't destroy it) There are two things about \u003cem\u003eAnubias Nana\u003c\/em\u003e that you have to keep in mind when putting it in your aquarium. The first rule with Anubias of any kind is that it is very sensitive to temperature shock. Acclimate the plant like you would a fish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe second thing about Anubias is that you want to tie it to a rock or drift wood and NOT put the plant down in the gravel of your tank. ( I let my Anubia find its own way down to the gravel, but don't put it there on its own.) You’ll get about 7 leaves on each piece. It has ridged kinda skinny ruffled leaves on it. I have kept this plant for a number of years and have even debated just keeping it alone all by its self. It does take a second to establish itself in the aquarium. \u003cstrong\u003eCrinum Calamistratum\u003c\/strong\u003e might even have one inch sections on the tips of its leaves turn yellow in the move. Not to worry it will come back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNOTE: This plant requires an excellent, nutrient rich substrate. (Dirt is what I keep it in) Don't try to keep Crinum Calamistratum in plain old gravel. Crinum is also a plant that responds directly to a huge water change. I swear I have almost watched them grow with a large water change. I love this plant, its so unique looking and always gets comments in my tank.
