I had avoided \u003cstrong\u003eMyriophyllum tuberculatum\u003c\/strong\u003e because I thought it would be a little too tough to keep. Not so. This \u003cem\u003eMyriophyllum tuberculatum\u003c\/em\u003e is actually thriving for us despite the fact that it has finer leaves and is red. This plant is similar to a \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/dustinsfishtanks.mom\/products\/foxtail\" title=\"Foxtail\"\u003eFoxtail \u003c\/a\u003eor other kinds of Myrio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI like the leaf pattern on this plant more than others. If you look closely it has a unique woven look to its leaves. We are currently keeping this plant in one of our higher light tanks and it is doing well. This Myriophyllum tuberculatum can handle lower light but won't give you the nicer reddish colors and would be more of a darker brown. It makes a great contrast to any planted aquarium. It likes a hard cut and replant.
